DR DRILL ACTIVITY(Switch Over)

Compare all parameters all parameter files between both Production and DR server.

stop and start extract process on production server(after doing this process size of new generated file are smaller ,it will consume less amount of time while uploading on dr )

stop all the process at production server.

Copy the BR,DIRCHK ,DIRDAT(Copy the latest trails files of each name from dirdat ) files from Production server.

Cross check once ,On Dr Server file inside the DIRDAT must be older than new DIRDAT files which are copied from Production Server.

Delete the old files and upload the latest trail files inside DIRDAT 

Start all Process on DR server.

check extract process on 23 in sync with time and date

4) stop EPROF1

stop extract process

7) start EPROF1

start e* -- becouse for transfer the file we need small size file

8) info all

and wait for lag clear

9) stop EPROF1 --- stope extract

10 ) check the extract status

11) stop * -- stop every prcesss

12) stop mgr --- 13) verify status for every process -- info all info

5) chenge pointing on pump

edit param PICPR1

23 to 155

6) view param PICPR1 check the changes made in file

7) check info all

then create folder on desktop

on arcos --- 23 open

click on arcos

take stfp and click on user and op_tsg5 connect on arocs for file transfer

and copy deskstop file location and paste on arcos

1) copy -- BR file form 23 arcos gg_home to and paste on desktop file on arcos

2) copy -- dirchk file form 23 arcos gg_home to and paste on desktop file on arcos

3) take latest taril file with small file size and form dirdat and paste on desktop file on arcos

4) check the file size and date and time and imp details

when we need to start process at complete activity from 23 to 155

connect to smtf file transfer

copy BR file from standby to PRM (Becoz new stb should know from where to start extract process it will

recovery of the process Boundry recovery)

and on old stb rename the BR file as a BR_03_8_24 for record purpose

copy the checkpoint directory from stb to prm (To know from where to all the process start on new stb )

and rename the olde chk as chk_03_08_24 

copy the latest small size trail files of extract and pump processes from stb to prm check proper date and copy it.

after that delete all the trail files from dirdat location of prm;

then those 2copied trail files paste in the cleared location prm (from stb to prm )

on PUMP 27 make change in rmthost now new stb is 155 

rmthost 10.16.12.155

wait for confirmation from app team once the db is connected to new prm db now we can start the process :

start mgr on new stb 155

start * (all process start )

if extract abend abend alter from recent scn 

alter extract ext1 ,scn 123378

on 155 edit param pump need to change send the data to ICMS 127
